Frequently Service Questions

Important Service Disclosure

To maintain clear professional boundaries and uphold applicable State Board of Social Work ethical standards, non-therapy services offered through our practice, including coaching, professional consultation, clinical supervision, training and workshops, career development, and other professional services, are provided separately from mental health therapy services.

Individuals who are currently receiving mental health therapy services from this practice are not eligible to receive these additional non-clinical services from the same provider. This policy helps prevent dual relationships, protect the therapeutic relationship, and maintain appropriate ethical boundaries.

What if I am experiencing a mental health emergency?

Our routine therapy appointments, consultations, assessments, and other scheduled services are not intended to provide emergency or immediate crisis intervention.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, severe emotional distress, or feel that you may be unable to keep yourself or someone else safe, please seek immediate support. You can call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for crisis counseling and support.

If you are experiencing an immediate or life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Please do not use appointment requests, website contact forms, email, or voicemail to communicate an emergency, as these methods may not be reviewed immediately.
